Recessed 500 Watt Floodlight
The OPTIMUM (OPA) lamphead is the latest breakthrough from FRC in emergency scene lighting. The design of this lamphead provides a maximum transfer of light from the bulb to the scene. This new addition to FRC lighting includes quartz halogen, HIR (Halogen Infrared), and HID (High Intensity Discharge) bulb options.
Setting The Trend For Modern Scene Lighting
The OPTIMUM has a uniquely designed, vacuum deposit, polished reflector and two optimizing mirrors to maximize light emission. It puts more light on the scene without the need for an increase in power. The large curved lens and exclusive "head down" shape produce the same light pattern as the FOCUS series. The uniform beam lights up an area 100˚ vertically by 150˚ horizontally.
More Selections - Bulb Options
The OPTIMUM lamphead has been designed to take advantage of the HID (High Intensity Discharge) and HIR (Halogen Infrared) bulbs available today.
More Selections - Mounting Options
The Optimum Recessed lights can be mounted into the exterior vehicle wall for applications where side mounted poles or fixed mounts are not practical. Two variations are available the OPA200 requires only a 2" recess, the OPA250 needs a 4" recess. The bezel and glass are removable from the front of the fixture (by removing 4 cap head screws) for easy access to the bulb as needed.
Floodlight, Optimum, 500W120V, flush mnt
Fire Research Optimum model OPA200-S50 recessed light shall be installed. The housing shall incorporate internal heat-dissipating fins and have cutout dimensions not to exceed 2" deep by 4 1/4" high by 9 3/4" wide. The lamphead shall protrude no more than 3 1/8" from the housing flange. Wiring shall extend from the bottom of the recessed housing.
The lamphead shall have one (1) quartz halogen 500 watt 120 volt bulb. The bulb will draw 4.2 amps and generate 10,500 lumens. The bulb shall be accessible through the front. The lamphead shall incorporate a vacuum deposit polished reflector and two optimizing mirrors to produce a uniform beam that lights up an area 100˚ vertically by 150˚ horizontally. The lamphead shall have a heat dissipating curved front lens. The curve of the lens shall have a radius of 5.16 inches to optimize light emission. Lamphead and brackets shall be powder coated white.
