What You Need To Know Before Making Your Next Purchase
Made in America doesn’t mean what you think: Whether the product is manufactured in the USA or overseas, what matters is how well it’s made. This includes everything from the way it’s engineered to manufacturing. In general, products made in China have a very poor overall level of quality. Unfortunately, the local brand here has their products manufactured in China only to assemble them in St. Louis so they can claim to be “Made in America”. It only requires 15% parts and/or labor to qualify for the “Made in America” moniker. This is why we promote Whelen which is more than 98% sourced and produced in the United States.
