The Xtreme series of surface mounted lights are very compact warning lights utilizing
Linear-Tech optics which, unlike TIR technology, disperses light in a much wider angle
than other LED lights.This concept, also known as "off-axis" lighting, aides in the visibility
of the warning light to onlookers in traffic, which greatly increases user safety in situations
such as intersection clearing.
